We’ve taken steps to meet cyclists’ needs perfectly at Peaks and Pods.

At The Hub next to our car park you’ll find the ‘Bike Store’ – a secure bike storage area with wall-mounted racks. We have bike repair stands for cyclists to use, including some basic bike maintenance tools and essentials. Outside The Hub there’s a hose pipe for use as a bike wash, an outdoor sink and a hand washing station.

Wash and dry your clothes at the Little Laundry at the other side of The Hub, or hang wet gear to dry in the Bike Store.

Each of our luxury camping pods has either an en suite bathroom or its own private shower room next to the pod for that essential post-ride shower, all with heated towel rails. The double bed in each pod has a comfortable pocket-sprung mattress for a great night’s sleep, complete with feather and down bedding (or microfibre if you prefer).

The pods have their own fully-equipped kitchenettes with two-ring hobs and a microwave, where light meals can be prepared.

In your private outdoor area, you’ll find a fire bowl that can be used as a barbecue grill, with charcoal sold on-site. We also provide breakfast baskets that include meat from our local butchers – perfect to satisfy hungry cyclists.

Our wonderful wood-fired pizza oven is available to hire for £10 (including all the wood and cooking tools). Located at The Hub, it’s the perfect place to relax with friends and enjoyed a well-earned carb fix with friends.

Nearby Settle is home to ‘3 Peaks Cycles’ – an excellent bike shop in the town centre. As well as a great selection of bikes, clothes and equipment, 3 Peaks Cycles offer bike hire and a café. It’s open seven days a week. www.3peakscycles.com

Escape Bikes is 16 miles away on the A65 near Ingleton and has bikes, components, clothing and a service and repair workshop. Open seven days a week. www.escapebikeshop.com.

We’re perfectly located for cyclists and have a dedicated page with more information about local riding opportunities. Visit the Cycling page under the ‘Offsite Fun’ tab – peaksandpods.co.uk/cycling.

As well as the most superb road routes in the area, the fabulous Gisburn Forest is only a stone’s throw away – perfect for mountain bikers.
