The nearest village is Tosside – just two miles away along a quiet road. You’ll get a hearty home-cooked meal in Tosside at The Old Vicarage Tearoom, with outside seating and a drinks licence (Old Vicarage Tearoom Facebook Page). Mountain bike hire

We’re blessed to have the wonderful Ebike Hire Centre just a couple of miles from Peaks of Pods in the next village of Tosside. Aran and his team are on hand to provide guests with the perfect mountain bike for either a full day, half day or twilight sessions, which includes helmet hire. There are bikes of all sizes, including children’s bikes, which are regularly serviced and maintained by expert bike mechanics.

A further six miles on from Tosside is the picturesque Lancashire village of Bolton-by-Bowland, which boasts a fabulous country pub – the Coach and Horses (coachandhorsesribblevalley.co.uk). Just out of the village is Holden Clough Nursery, which is an absolutely stunning garden centre with its own lovely café – The Reading Room (holdencloughnursery.com). Hugely recommend a visit here!
